Shiva Mazrouei is a social purpose professional with ten years of experience. Driven by curiosity and lifelong learning, she specializes in social connection, mental well-being, inclusive physical activity, and qualitative research. Her work spans across sectors, including children & youth, early childhood education, equity, diversity & inclusion, healthcare, settlement, and workforce development. As a racialized immigrant, Shiva is deeply engaged in community work, education, social justice, and social innovation.

With Roots & Rivers, Shiva brings this experience to working with professional associations, community organizations, municipal governments, and foundations on strategic planning, evaluation and research, community engagement, and facilitation.

Outside of work, she enjoys exploring cafes, reading, learning, and discovering new places and activities.
